The Challenge
Despite nature keeping our climate stable for millions of years, it’s often overlooked as a tool to restore harmony to our climate. We urgently need to invest in nature; it’s our greatest ally in climate action. However, there just aren’t enough trustworthy options for businesses to allocate their budgets in ways that truly benefit the climate and biodiversity. Wild + Pine is an architect of multigenerational Canadian forest projects actively working to enhance the nature-based solutions market, providing an opportunity for sustainability leaders to build transparent and truly additional carbon removal assets to de-risk emissions portfolios and create meaningful impact.
The Strategy
Yulu capitalized on a three-pronged approach for Wild + Pine’s outreach. First, by leveraging earned media moments, like partnership announcements with leading brands like Aviva, key environmental dates to introduce Wild + Pine to media, as well as leveraging an opinion piece showcasing Wild + Pine’s thought leading expertise. Second, social media opportunities were explored by utilizing LinkedIn and X to cultivate a growing follower base, attract interest from potential partners, and share dialogue about recent industry developments and what they mean for Wild + Pine, corporate sustainability leaders, and the nature-based solutions industry more generally. Lastly, owned opportunities were utilized through the development of blogs, generating partner toolkits to help partners communicate about their partnership and impact with Wild + Pine, and creating compelling visual assets, including a brand video.
