As we celebrate our 13th anniversary as an Impact Communications agency, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge how our commitment to using the power of storytelling to accelerate social and environmental impact hasn’t changed — but our approach to delivering on this mission has.

Yulu’s roots as a communications firm began by specializing in media relations. And during our time in business, we’ve generated thousands of media placements for our valued partners across North America and beyond.

However, as the world of communications continues to evolve, so have we. 

That’s why over the past several years we’ve transformed Yulu into an integrated communications agency that spans the gamut of earned, social, owned, and paid media to supercharge the impact of our client partners.

The communications landscape continues to transform dramatically with changing social media habits, the rise of influencers, the changes in search and AI, the increased importance of community engagement, and the need for channel-agnostic strategies. 

To meet these new opportunities, we have expanded our team to include specialists in social media, paid media, impact programming, community engagement, behavior change, visual creative, and website design. This intentional team diversification means that we now have a greater breadth and depth of storytelling tools, enabling us to deploy comprehensive strategies in lock step with the communication potential of our clients.

This shift means we are now a one-stop shop for climate and community communication needs. Our integrated approach allows us to create cohesive and compelling strategies that are multi-channel, making them a force multiplier.
