Climate scientists are sounding the alarm — are we listening?
Climate scientists are warning louder than ever, yet their message is getting lost in the noise.
With a relentless news cycle, especially amid policy uncertainty in the U.S., critical climate updates aren’t breaking through, but we can’t afford to look away.
That’s why our team of climate communicators created this new video to draw attention to a critical scientific update on our heating planet.
Specifically, scientists have warned us that 1.5°C was the limit to mitigate the worst impacts of climate change. Yet, in 2024: global warming exceeded 1.5°C across the entire year for the first time.
This isn’t just another report: this is a pivotal moment in our climate change trajectory that we need to respond to (quickly and decisively). Unless we change our path, 2024 will be the first of many years above 1.5°C and the start of climate breakdown.
Here’s the good news: There is still time to act. But we need to stand with scientists and use our skills as climate communicators to amplify their findings, and mobilize climate action across economies, societies, and borders.
We invite you to share this video freely — because in today’s chaotic world, we can’t let science go unheard.
