Last week we received amazing news – our growing, nimble public relations and digital media agency was named winner of a GOLD Stevie® Award, earning the title of “Best PR Campaign of the Year.” Yulu was recognized for our media relations work with local charity F-Cancer’s international campaign titled The Cancer Talk. The news of this highly respected business industry award comes in just as our agency is celebrating its one-year anniversary – a huge win for us!
“When I lived in New York, PR agencies would battle tooth and nail for a Stevie award so when we received the news earlier this week that we won gold, we were ecstatic,” says Yulu’s owner and managing director Melissa Orozco. “Our work with FCancer over the last year has been extremely rewarding and most of all, fun!”
The International Business Awards (IBA) is the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2012 IBAs received entries from more than 50 nations and territories.
The awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Seoul, South Korea on 15 October. Melissa intends to have a representative of the company present to accept the award. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 300 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
