Yulu is looking to welcome an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join our impact team, who will bring expertise in developing impactful integrated communications campaigns. This candidate would have a specific interest in environmental and health issues. The anticipated start date would be towards the end of March, 2025.

Here’s a sample of what a day in the life of a Yulu (Sr) Account Manager might entail:
- Working on (and leading) strategic research and communications plans for your clients
- Project managing multiple internal team members as well as external clients on past-paced accounts
- Consulting clients at every turn, whether it’s managing expectations, determining the best course of action or strategy, conflict resolution or risk mitigation
- Brainstorming, strategizing and executing integrated creative campaigns
- Jamming with the team on the day’s top headlines to proactively create story opportunities for our clients
- Confidently leading client calls and meetings with an active listening approach to ensure impactful on the spot consultation
- Pitching top tier media like New York Times, Forbes or FastCo with tailored, unique and compelling story angles they won’t be able to say “no” to
- Motivating, mentoring and coaching your direct reports and other members of staff to achieve the Yulu Experience
- Drafting educational and engaging op-eds that drive action and change
- Hosting a lunch & learn for the team on your designated UN SDG
- Playing a key role in shaping Yulu’s coveted community and team culture
- Playing an active role within the local and international B Corp community
- Exploring ways to build our growing community of Impact Communications champions
- Encouraging your clients to think beyond the status quo and helping them advance and inspire their industry
- Attending new business meetings when appropriate and assisting with new business proposals as needed
Other requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 4+years’ experience in a PR agency or in-house communications capacity, or related experience for an Account Manager level; a minimum of 5-6+ years of experience for Senior Account Manager level
- Experience with developing and executing integrated communications campaigns
- Experience with developing social media strategies is also highly valued across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Meta, etc
- Strong knowledge of the North American Media Landscape
Compensation range: Commensurate with experience.
- The Account Manager range is $62,000 – $70,000 (4 years of experience minimum)
- The Senior Account Manager range is $73,000 – $78,000 (5-6 years of experience minimum)

- Proposing new ideas to help advance areas within the agency during a monthly director meeting
- Pitching and closing an exciting new social enterprise partner alongside Yulu’s VP
- Hosting a Lunch & Learn for the team on your designated UN SDG
- Playing a key role in shaping Yulu’s coveted community and team culture
- Playing an active role within the local and international B Corp community
- Representing Yulu at an industry networking event
- Offering junior staff positive feedback and coaching on editing skills
- Managing and monitoring Growth Plans for your direct reports
Other requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a PR agency or in-house communications capacity, or related experience
- Experience with managing integrated communications programs across earned, owned, paid and shared
- Experience with directing social media programs across platforms including LinkedIn, X, Meta, etc
- Experience with developing websites and/or directing video production
- A background in program management is also highly valued
Compensation range: Commensurate with experience, ranging between $81,000 – $85,000 annually + competitive extended benefits & incentives
Terms: Permanent, full-time.
