We helped get the word out about Vancouver Aquarium’s After Hours Exhibit to make it a successful event.
The Challenge
The Vancouver Aquarium was hosting a Halloween-themed After Hours event, an adults-only exhibit for attendees to get up-close with aquatic life. Despite regularly hosting After Hours events, the public wasn’t aware of it and so Yulu was brought on to attract media and local influencers to attend while also generating buzz for future After Hours events.
The Solution
With so many Halloween events happening in the city, Yulu knew that generating early buzz around the event was crucial to securing attendees. We pitched local lifestyle bloggers and media for pre-coverage and invited top-tier outlets to attend the event as well.
The Result & Impact
We secured pre-coverage in outlets such as BC Living, Good Life Vancouver and ModernMix Vancouver. We also secured attendance with media from Global News, Montecristo, Nuvo and Pangcouver. In total, we secured more than 23 brand impressions in traditional media coverage and more than 30 brand impressions in social media.
