Amplifying Impact: A Look Inside the Canadian Real Estate Association’s First REALTORS Care® Days Report

A New Era of Accountability in Canadian Real Estate

The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is working to have the real estate industry stand as champions of community care and grassroots impact. Through its REALTORS Care® Days initiative and a bold approach to impact reporting, CREA is setting a new precedent for how national associations can build public trust and deepen community connection.

In collaboration with Yulu Impact Communications, CREA released its first-ever REALTORS Care® Days Impact Report – a storytelling-forward, data-backed account of how REALTORS® from coast to coast came together in service of local needs. The report captures more than numbers – it captures a movement.

Why This Matters

In a climate where trust in institutions is eroding and housing remains one of the most pressing social issues, the need for authentic, transparent storytelling is critical. CREA’s REALTORS Care® Days Impact Report not only documents the outcomes of a coordinated national initiative – it reflects a cultural shift in how real estate professionals show up in their communities.

This report proves that community impact isn’t just a nice-to-have – it’s a reputational asset. It builds credibility, showcases values in action, and helps demonstrate the real-life implications of policy and advocacy work.

The Strategy Behind the Story

The Yulu team developed a reporting framework that prioritized:

  • Clarity and accessibility: Designing a report that could be easily digested and shared across CREA’s member boards and associations

The REALTORS Care® Days initiative activated hundreds of REALTORS® across communities – and the impact report turned that collective action into a compelling narrative. Key highlights included:

  • 18 local activations across Canada 
  • 2,000+ volunteer hours logged
  • $63,000+ donated to help Canadian families in need
  • Coverage across CREA’s social and owned media channels

The report has since become a touchstone for internal engagement and external storytelling, giving CREA a credible platform to build upon year over year.
