We’re getting close to hitting the sixth-month mark in our airy, exposed brick and beam office space overlooking Gastown’s most picturesque avenue, Water Street.
Since we spend our work week in this lively neighbourhood, our team can vouch for the fact that Gastown is a vibrant and community-oriented pocket of Vancouver. In Gastown you can find all types of creative agencies including marketing firms, graphic design firms, photography studios, and of course, public relations agencies all walking distance from one another.
Scattered under, in between, and next to the vintage warehouses that house these creative teams, are myriad lunch options for Gastown’s professionals to fuel up and keep their minds inspired and alert. Yulu’s top picks include creamy tomato basil soup from Smart Mouth Café, the mjadra platter from Nuba, a refreshing apple and ginger juice from the Juice Truck, a sweet treat from Cartems Donuterie or a caffeine boost (or three) from Milano Coffee Roasters. When punctuated by treats like these, our nine-to-whenever–your-work-is-done days seem to fly by.
We love the inclusive community here in Gastown – we have noticed a lot off cross-promotion between businesses (especially on social media), in a friends-helping-friends frame of mind.
How can you be anything but inspired with neighbours like these?
