“Beyond the binary”: Jessie and his partner recreate the 1993 Vanity Fair cover with K.D Lang and Cindy Crawford for WestEnder’s Pride cover. Jessie is the owner of Big Bros Barbershop and one of our #yulucares clients. We thought Jessie was holding a smartphone, but it’s actually a mirror. Oh, 2015.
We’re glad to have helped trans people be represented in the media during Pride week. We are reminded that trans women fought back at Stonewall in 1969 too, without which there might not be Pride parades around the world this year.
